The collected proceedings of the joint Constructionism / FabLearn 2023 conference. The 2023 conference brings together the FabLearn and Constructionism conferences and was held at Teachers College, Columbia University, on October 7-11, 2023. The Constructionism Conference (which was previously known as EuroLogo) is held bi-annually and brings together researchers and educators focused on the constructionist design paradigm.
FabLearn is the pioneering conference on maker education, created in 2011 and attended by researchers, educators, and children to discuss and share hands-on projects, constructionist technologies, and empirical research. The conference theme was “Building the Future of Constructionism.” Papers in the collected proceedings describe research on constructionist learning; maker, computer science, and AI education; the design of learning environments; emerging technologies for learning; and cultural making.
